This service acts as your personal travel consultant for destinations around the world, providing information on golf courses, terms for rental cars and limousines, the chartering of private jets, helicopters, and yachts, as well as taking care of your wishes in the sphere of travel and hotel bookings around the clock. Priority Pass membership of airport lounges

As a Bonviva Platinum principal or additional cardholder, you are entitled to the Priority Pass on request. This gives you access to over 600 airport lounges around the world. There you can enjoy a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere, a generous selection of international newspapers, light refreshments, internet access, showers, and even conference facilities. As principal or additional cardholder of the Bonviva American Express Platinum Card, you do not have to pay any annual fee for the Priority Pass. In addition, entry is free of charge to you1. Others traveling with you will have to pay the entry fee.

Transport accident insurance with high coverage*

If you would like to feel safe while traveling within Switzerland or abroad, you would do well to pay for your flight, your public transport tickets, taxis, or rental cars with your Bonviva American Express Platinum Card. This way you’ll receive a high level of insurance cover for the financial consequences of an accident (death or disability as a result of one of these forms of transport).

Global Assist*

In the event of a medical, legal, or personal emergency abroad, you have access to our free assistance and information service Global Assist at any time, day or night.
For example, the service will organize and provide you with travel information on any necessary vaccinations, contact details at embassies, consulates, or attorneys, as well as details of doctors. It will also obtain lost travel documentation, forward the urgent information to the relevant party, and provide advances in the event that you have lost your travel funds or need to pay hospital, other medical, attorney, or interpreter costs. In emergencies, you can also arrange to be sent urgently required medication or replacement spectacles.

Gold Assist*

For further assistance benefits with cost reimbursement, the free assistance and information service Gold Assist is available to you at any time, day or night. The support provided ranges from medical advice and organization of rescue or repatriation through to arranging an emergency stay in hospital.
Also included is Foreign Travel Health Insurance to replace any medical costs incurred, Home Assistance to provide additional support in the event of damage to your home while you are or away, and Vehicle Assistance will assist you if you have car trouble while abroad.

By paying fully for any foreign travel with your Bonviva American Express Platinum Card, you are well protected in the event that you need to cancel or break off your trip as a result of accident or illness. The Platinum Assist service is there to help you when you need it, day or night.

If the seller will not take back a functioning product that you have purchased with your Bonviva American Express Platinum Card either in your country of residence, EU and EFTA or on the Internet, you can claim compensation for the purchase within 90 days from the date of purchase.

Loss damage waiver for rental cars*

If you pay for a rental car abroad using your credit card, then the loss damage waiver for rental cars automatically applies. The best thing to do is to provide the details during the reservation of the rental car.

Luggage insurance*

Pay for your trip abroad with your credit card. During an insured trip, luggage insurance covers personal luggage items of all insured persons against theft, damage and destruction. Furthermore, your personal luggage is insured against loss if checked-in with a carrier during your trip abroad.
